Yakiniku-GO at JEM is selling $4.90 mystery Meat Bombs until 2 November

Yakiniku-GO at JEM #B1-01 is running a Meat Bomb Mystery Gacha until 2 November 2026. You pay from $4.90, grill a sealed parcel, and find out if you rolled Wagyu, Jeju pork, jumbo oyster, or foie gras. JEM posted the dates as 4 August to 2 November. The brand's own site lists the gacha at all Yakiniku-GO outlets. Dine-in only at the mall.

This is a weekday west dinner more than a destination meal. The outlet sits in the JEM basement, one level below the Jurong East MRT link. Smoke-free electric grills are the point of the brand. You can eat here and get on the train without smelling like charcoal.

How the $4.90 gacha actually works

JEM's promo copy is short. Roll, grill, eat. Fillings named on the mall page are premium Wagyu, Jeju pork, jumbo oyster, and foie gras. The official gacha poster is a prize ladder, not a full menu. Treat $4.90 as the entry price for a side, not a substitute for a set. If you walk in expecting a $4.90 dinner, you will be annoyed. If you add one or two bombs onto a Karubi set, the gacha makes sense.

The campfire menu HungryGoWhere reviewed in May ended on 3 August. That one had yakiniku don and yakisoba from $8.90, bacon and scallop ajillo at $12.80, and s'mores. Do not go to JEM in September looking for that list. The Meat Bomb is the live promo now. Ask the floor staff what is still on the board before you order from memory.

Yakiniku-GO Set with short plate, oyster blade steak, tongue, rice and soup

Order a set first, then gamble

The house sets have not moved. The Yakiniku-GO Set is short plate, oyster blade steak, beef tongue, rice, soup, and kimchi or salad. Double Karubi is short plate plus boneless short rib. Pork Sanshu Mori is belly, collar, and jowl. Older published prices put the GO Set around $19.90 to $24.90 depending on portion. Confirm on the table QR. Four tare sauces come with the grill. Karubi is the cut regulars name first. The Ranting Panda called it tender, with more marbling than the usual short plate.

JEM is also the only outlet with free-flow sides and dessert, according to the brand promotions page. Kimchi, radish, cucumber, salad, miso soup, and frozen yoghurt show up in diner write-ups of that bar. If you are choosing between JEM and Jurong Point, that bar is the reason to stay in Jurong East. Jurong Point's branch at #B1-55 is still a backup when JEM queues, and it opens at 11am every day.

JEM basement notes you will not get from the poster

Hours at JEM: Monday to Friday 11.30am to 10pm. Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays 11am to 10pm. Last order 9.15pm. Phone 6684 4353. The chain is not halal. Solo diners are normal here because the grills are built into two-tops. Peak is dinner after 6.30pm on weekends. Off-peak after 2pm is when the basement is actually usable.

Din Tai Fung on the same mall is closed 1 to 24 September 2026 for a refresh. The brand is sending diners to IMM and Jurong Point in the meantime, with complimentary crispy chicken wings on a $38 spend if you flash the Instagram post. If your west dinner plan was xiao long bao plus yakiniku, drop the dumpling half until 25 September and stay downstairs.

JEM parking is cheaper Monday to Thursday until 31 December if you spend $50 the same day and redeem a $3 coupon at the B2 concierge. That is a mall promo, not a restaurant one, but it is the same basement.
