Tried the Solo 2 with beef. The dishes and rice is just nice for 2 pax. Delicious and by itself not overly spicy. Delish! Beef rendang is flavourful and not tough. Brinjal sambal is on the sweet side but cow lung is crispy on the outside. Keruing is just nice. Not too sweet. Will definitely come again!

We didn't order the popular nasi ambeng sets but opted for our own nasi padang plates. A bit shocked when we paid up. $21 for 2 similar plates of nasi padang plus a bottle of mineral water. Only difference between our plates was tempeh vs begedil. Luckily the food was really really delicious. I ordered sambal goreng, kicap ayam and sambal tempeh. Would definitely visit again when I crave a great plate of nasi padang, but just need to be prepared when I pay up. Haha.

Humble little space at the basement of Westgate. The Nasi Ambeng Duet came in a huge portion, and cost only $23 nett for the premium option. Food was tasty and the spice level was perfect for someone like me who doesn't take spices very well.

Food with nice taste and huge portion. Clean and cosy, but limited seats. I’m not sure if it’s consider pricey for some, but a big plate for 2 pax like this cost $17. To me it’s more than worth the price! No service charge, only GST. Personally I love the beef rendang, I’m not a fan of chicken drum, will prefer curry chicken pieces instead. In any case, it’s yummy!

I have come several times for the Malay food here .. it was pretty excellent until recently , the amount of chicken is much less (vs the price!) and it was extremely hard.. the ice tea also was quite diluted .. however the achar and the potato was really nice:)
