Singapore's iconic kaya toast chain serving heritage breakfasts and traditional Kopi at Jurong Point.
Ya Kun Kaya Toast is a name woven into Singapore's food heritage, famed for its crispy thin toast slathered with sweet coconut-egg jam (kaya) and a pat of cold butter, best paired with soft-boiled eggs and a cup of robust traditional kopi.
The Jurong Point Family Cafe outlet brings that same decades-old recipe to the west, alongside an expanded menu of local breakfast plates, toast variations, and hot and cold beverages that go beyond the classics.
The café-style seating and extended hours make it suitable for everything from a quick morning bite to a leisurely afternoon kopi break. For an authentic taste of Singapore's café culture, Ya Kun at Jurong Point never disappoints.

Tried their Cheese Balls for the 1st time ever and omg I could hardly see nor taste the cheese, which was a big difference from its menu photo. Menu photo shows cheese filling on the round side of the balls. But the actual product was all flour/cake and the cheese was barely there on the flat side of the ball. There were 2 balls that didn't seem to have any cheese at all!!!

Had waited for twenty minutes for my queue number before I headed to the counter to ask if it was going to be ready soon. Only then was I told by the staff that another customer had wrongly taken my order along with her own order. I wondered why my queue number was never called when the food was ready. Anyway I was told to wait for a new set to be prepared, and it tasted underwhelming like it was made in a rush.

Just discovered that I can buy a cup of plain hot water for 80 cents. If I buy a drink like coffee or tea, I get a small cup of hot water for free! So if there is two of us, we only need to buy one drink. Soft boiled eggs are very consistent, not too runny.

Ordered steam bread and kaya toast, then came bck in ~15 mins to look for my order, the cashier staff told me that because I came late then asked me to wait, meaning they gave my order to other customers just because I missed my order number? Is it reali work that way? They also never check for order and just gave me my incomplete order after I waited, I told them my order is nt complete then one of the aunty sounds very unfriendly like I did sth wrong? Such unprofessional service and unsystematic management.

Cashier lady seemed not happy to work on Sunday. She sounded agitated.
Cleaner lady was very gracious. Even though old, she worked diligently and pleasantly.
Seating space was more than sufficient.
Must eat- kaya toast bread. It never fails.
Wait time was less than 5 minutes.
Bread would come last. They will display your queue number. And then anybody can collect the bread left at collection point. So, wrong person may pick it and the correct diner may feel upset.
Better system can be worked.
Half boiled eggs are opened and served. Thus, you must consume quickly before it gets cold under the aircon.
Please tell the cashier lady to smile.
We will come back. For sure.
