Neighbourhood coffee shop at Sunshine Place serving local breakfast and hawker favourites in Choa Chu Kang.
Kopitiam Corner at Sunshine Place is a neighbourhood coffee shop serving the Choa Chu Kang community with the familiar, no-frills hawker experience that Singaporeans grew up with.
Located at #01-31, this unassuming eatery offers a range of local dishes and beverages at pocket-friendly prices, making it a convenient stop for residents seeking a quick, satisfying meal close to home.
The stall typically serves local coffee and tea, traditional kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs, and a selection of simple hawker dishes that cater to the daily breakfast and lunch crowd. As a neighbourhood kopitiam, it prioritises affordability and convenience over frills — exactly what regulars appreciate about their local coffee shop. The casual, laid-back atmosphere encourages lingering over a cup of kopi and the morning paper. For a simple, honest neighbourhood meal at Sunshine Place, Kopitiam Corner is the local corner spot that keeps it real. It is everyday Singapore — warm, unpretentious, and always there when you need it.
I recently visited kopitiam and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The coffee I ordered had an unpleasant taste, and the staff at the drinks stall were not friendly or welcoming. Additionally, despite the air-conditioning being on, the environment was uncomfortably hot, which made the visit even less enjoyable. I hope you’ll take this feedback constructively and look into improving both product quality and customer service, as well as ensuring the air-conditioning is functioning effectively.

Then aunty at the kopi kiosk cashier has an attitude, impatient and damn rude. Always rushing me when I have many orders, not only that, gave me the annoyed face too.

I visited the first stall on the right side right after entering the kopitiam corner. It sells egg covered rice or something like that. I ordered a chicken leg egged rice and it costs $8.90. the portion is really small. Worst still, I witnessed the lady keep talking to her colleague and cough while handling my food, she has NO MASK on. No basic hygiene and will not visit the stall again.

Just on the breakfast set... I ask for 2 breakfast set, service staff as for NTUC card. After showed her the card, she ask me is it one set. I told her 2. But she insist of one due to I only has one card.. Service screw up. When I am picking up my breakfast set, they insist us to take a tray. The problem is they cannot see we already had a tray ready at their angle. Keep on insisting us to bring up a tray. Service screw up again.. Having a cold toast, tasteless pepper and sour tea. Further screw up... Finally, having a lot of free seat in the morning, but all with houseflies. Ultimate screw up.... The only plus points.. Cleaner look, Aircon work and a KFC.

Quite a good selection of food choices here.
My favourite stall so far is the Hainan Chicken stall that serves both rice and noodles fare.
