Good food ngl. The 粗粮米粉 stall was goated honestly. But the service there like were being tortured like tat. Cleaner very rude when we politely returned our trays. Tables not clean and cleaners take no responsibility to clean them. Price for Kopitiam is unreasonably high.

On 8 Sep 2025, I ordered the signature dish, Kimchi Tofu from New Korean Cuisine. Got a shock when the dish was served. Why?
Photo shown at stall was kimchi tofu served in a claypot, with spring onions and red cut chilli.
What I got was a regular black bowl (like those $2 bowl sold at Daiso) with broken pieces of tofu in lots of liquid (red color). Nothing else. No kimchi vegetables, no garnishing!
I asked staff at stall for the garnishing (spring onions and red cut chilli) as depicted in the photo. She just shook her head and said "don't have".
This is sheer daylight robbery. Never had kimchi tofu soup served in a regular bowl in my life, not here in Sg nor anywhere else in the world. Its always served in claypot.
Please do not patronise this stall!!

Typical Kopitiam. Their Heritage Teochew Noodle is not bad cause the fish balls are really Q. The old cucumber soup is decent! Good now they accept the NTUC app for payment as it’s more convenient! Also wow the Bingsu definitely a must-try. It’s cheap and good!

I had tried few times ordered from grab food and finally I found this place!!!
Jia Wei Lao Huo Tang - located at level 2 inside the Hillion Mall Kopitiam Non Halal Area Comfort soup served with many ingredients and the portion is just nice for one pax. The take away portion is big and they give half chicken. Feel not enough still can order white rice/brown rice. This is the meal worth returning for! Next round will try their braised pork and 猪脚醋!!

Ordered black coffee and chee cheong fun, served by an aunty, the chee cheong fun was given plan without any sauce, when asked why no sauce, she said unhappily that the sauce are there in the bottle, just add yourself lah. As there are a few bottles and one written kueh, so I added that, it is just normal thick dark sauce, check the others, non are the correct sauce for chee cheong fun. 😒 Management, if you cannot provide the proper sauce, pls dont sell the item. BTW, coffee also too dilute.
