KFC (The Clementi Mall) at Clementi Mall

It’s really sad to see the size of the chicken shrunk so much. The chicken wing and the thigh is almost the same size. KFC Malaysia use to be like that but after much complaints, they started to put up notice that the size of the chicken will be bigger and assured. But now this problem start to come to Singapore. The taste is still great and that’s why I return. But to see the size is shrunk until that obvious, disappointment kicks-in.

While my order was being prepared, I alr told staff (who I guess is the supervisor or manager) in black uniform that I want my fries to be hot. She turned around and pointed the the fries in the tray behind her and assured it was. I took my tray of food to my table and upon eating 1 fry, it was lukewarm. I returned it to the counter and repeated that I want my fries hot. I went back to my seat as I was uncertain how long they need to change it. 1 of their staff subsequently served the new fries to my table. Sadly, it was still lukewarm and I went back to the cashier again and spoke to the manager, ‘do u not have newly fried fries? These are not hot’. She tried to insist that they are ‘newly fried’ which I refused to accept. She unwillingly took the fries back and I returned to my seat again. This time, the staff just tapped on the bell and called out my receipt number. I went to take my fries and finally, it was freshly hot. Perhaps the kitchen was trying not to fry so much fries when there are not many orders. But I don’t think this is the way when your customer already made the request from the start.

Ordered in advance for xx time collection but food not ready to collect yet. Delayed about 15mins. Food is ok, but staff need to improve on taking care advance orders. Order no. indicated as ready to pick up, but order is not ready to pick up yet. Not accurate too. Ondeh ondeh egg tart is not bad, but size differs. Got some look very "wrinkled" and smaller, while got some look very nice and big "plump". Chicken parts given are well-balanced, but chicken look very deep-fried, not sure is it the oil used too many times? Mantou zinger is ok. Its a very big mantou with zinger chicken thigh meat. Sauce given is still reasonable portion.
