Ex-MasterChef finalist's handmade ban mian and mee hoon kway stall.
Jiak Song Mee Hoon Kway is the brainchild of ex-MasterChef Singapore Season 1 finalist Aaron Wong, who traded the television kitchen for a humble hawker stall specialising in handmade noodles. Each bowl features freshly rolled-to-order ban mian or mee hoon kway, with a limited daily supply that often sells out before 2 pm.
The Signature All-In Combo is the star — loaded with pork slices, pork balls and shrimp balls in a rich, cloudy broth. A dry version drenched in dark savoury sauce is equally popular. The Keat Hong outlet brings Aaron's handmade noodles closer to Choa Chu Kang residents. Come early to Jiak Song at Keat Hong Shopping Centre — handmade noodles, MasterChef pedigree, and a bowl worth waking up for.
