JASON PENANG CUISINE On Sunday, my wife and I went to the newly renovated Hawker Street food court in Clementi Mall. We were attracted to the stall Jason Penang Cuisine. I ordered the Penang Char Keow Teow for my wife and the Penang Hokkien Char. After payment I was given a buzzer and waited for my orders. Some 15 minutes later, the buzzer beeped. I went to collect the food but only the Char Keow Teow was ready. The cook told me to wait some more for the Hokkien Char as she would only cook this once she accumulated enough orders. I took the Char Keow Teow back to my seat. After my wife had finished her food and after some 30 minutes later, the buzzer was still silent. I went to the stall to politely enquire what was happening with my Hokkien Char. The cook was aggressive, rude and scolded me. She said I told you to wait. I said I have been waiting for 45 minutes. She responded that I was looking to quarrel with her and she abruptly turned away. The cashier tried to help and said that my order will be ready shortly. There was another female who enquired about her order. She suffered the same fate as me. Visit this stall only if you donβt mind getting scolded after waiting for an unreasonably long time for small portion poor tasting food. The char keow teow had two prawns, a little bit of egg and a four pieces paper thin slices western sausage. The Hokkien Char had a few pieces of roast pork, bland salty gravy. I will not be patronising this stall again in spite of the Michelin mention logo. I will give feedback to Michelin.
