Point to your favourites, load your plate, and enjoy a taste of tradition.
We got Assam pedas fish from the Hajah Maimunah stall. The ikan pari was not fresh at all! And we had bought 3 pcs takeaway! The flesh of the fish was greyish brown. It was only 10+ am when we bought the dish. Regret buying. Ended up eating plain rice with gravy only! If we were there, we would have returned the dish! Hajah Maimunah owners, you really need more QC on the fish that you buy and not pass them off as eatable.

Please be careful here. The old lady who works there mixes spoons from the rendang and vegetables. Even after I told her not to due to my dietary restrictions. And her response is “it’s all the same”. This used to be my favorite place to buy food from and now it’s become a place I don’t trust anymore. Horrible! Very disappointed in the service. Imagine if I was allergic to something. I would never dismiss someone’s dietary preferences. So, to have that done to me is rude and unprofessional and a serious health and safety issue.

Chanced upon this when we came into the food junction looking for a table to chill after a few hours of standing, and decided to share a plate at 3pm 🕒 The queue was pretty constant even during off peak hours, as can be seen in the photos, and rightly so given that the food was great! Having tried their dishes from their main outlet, we were excited to see if this matches up and it did 👍🏻 🐠 the fish set costs $8.50, which is definitely pricey for a food court, but was a generous serving and was very fresh too - definitely something we will always opt for in future. 🌶️ chilli was good, would have taken more if we knew it was this good Begedil and eggs were average, have tried better ones out there. Definitely a good addition to the food junction, looking forward to having this again!

Wife and I are so happy that Hjh Maimunah Mini opened here at Westgate. We used to travel all the way to Joo Chiat to enjoy our favourite nasi padang. The food quality here at this Westgate outlet is just as amazing as the original store. Even better, the staff here is super friendly. Staff Juliana, thank you for your excellent service with a smile. Our favorite dishes are the beef rendang, sambal prawn, sambal sotong, chicken, begedel ... just to name a few.
