Ajisen's premium ramen sub-brand with richer broths and charcoal-grilled chashu at IMM.
Ajisen Tanjiro at IMM is a premium sub-brand of the Ajisen Ramen group, offering an elevated ramen experience with richer, more intensely flavoured broths and charcoal-grilled chashu that sets it apart from the standard Ajisen menu.
The Tanjiro concept was created to cater to ramen enthusiasts seeking deeper, more complex flavour profiles while retaining the accessibility and value that the Ajisen name is known for.
The menu highlights charcoal-grilled chashu as its signature element, the pork belly seared over binchotan-style charcoal for a smoky, caramelised edge that pairs beautifully with the creamy tonkotsu broth. Additional offerings include specialty ramen with flavoured eggs, black garlic oil ramen, and side dishes such as gyoza and karaage that complement the noodle bowls. Whether you are a ramen aficionado looking for that next-level bowl or simply want something more indulgent than the ordinary, Ajisen Tanjiro at IMM delivers premium comfort in every slurp. Try the charcoal chashu ramen and taste the upgrade.

The Ajisen Ramen never disappoints, sides are fresh and delicious as well, the kimchi pancake is super crispy, choice of lemon tea if you order set. And they have free flow hard-boiled eggs. Had a very satisfying lunch here, will definitely visit again.

Visited Ajisen Tanjiro for dinner and the place was pretty packed, which shows it’s still a popular spot. They offer free boiled eggs, which is a nice touch, though I personally didn’t eat them since I’m not a fan.
I ordered the Volcano Ramen, and while it’s still spicy, it’s definitely not as intense as it used to be about 12 years ago. The noodle quality wasn’t great — the texture felt weak and lacked that springiness you’d expect from good ramen.
On the bright side, the meal is very affordable. At $21 including GST, it’s hard to complain too much. They also give a portion of mentaiko to pair with the noodles, which was an interesting addition. Not mind-blowing, but a fun twist.
Overall, Ajisen Tanjiro is a value-for-money ramen option, good for a casual meal when you don’t want to spend too much. Just don’t come expecting high ramen standards.

During my visit to Ajisen Ramen at IMM Outlet Mall, I found the overall experience to be satisfactory. While the service was acceptable, there is room for improvement as it did not stand out. Despite varying reviews, I personally found the ramen I ordered to be tasty and satisfying. The price point for the weekday set lunch, coupled with the available promo, was reasonable. The ambience of the restaurant was okay. Although Ajisen Ramen may not offer the best ramen I have ever tasted, taking into account the price point, service, and ambience, I believe it deserves a 4-star rating. The combination of tasty dishes, reasonable pricing, and acceptable service makes it a commendable choice for a casual dining experience.

Good service. Not queue during weekend lunch. Service was prompt. Food wise mostly above average. Dry style Ramen was quite unique. Serving size was above average. Set meals were value for money.
