About West Coast Park
West Coast Park is the West’s East Coast Park: smaller, closer to Clementi, used by families who already live here. NParks lists 50 hectares parallel to West Coast Highway and calls it the Play Centre of the West. Grounds are open 24 hours. Nine barbecue pits take AXS bookings. Book before you turn up. The Grand Lawn is the kite field. The adventure playground and dog run fill Saturday. The promenade lookout faces the strait and the yachts. Marsh Garden is the quiet bird bit (White-breasted Waterhen, Striated Heron). A section of footpath in Area 1 is closed for repair until 31 December 2026. Clementi MRT and Haw Par Villa MRT are the stations. Hell’s Museum is the indoor stop if Haw Par Villa’s outdoor park is still shut. This is a park row, not West Coast Plaza.
