About Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is the hill the West actually climbs. NParks lists 163 hectares and a 163-metre summit, one of two ASEAN Heritage Parks in Singapore. Hours are 07:00–19:00. Pets are not allowed. Groups of more than 30 people need a permit a month ahead. The visitor centre sits at the end of Hindhede Drive. The carpark has 83 lots and fills around 08:30 on Saturday. Beauty World MRT is the honest approach. Hindhede Nature Park is next door for quarry photos with kids. Trails from the Hindhede carpark are closed 1 September–31 December 2026. Use the boardwalk from the Bukit Timah Visitor Centre in that window. Summit demolition runs July 2026 to March 2028. The hill is still open. Check the NParks notice before you go. Eco-Link@BKE is the wildlife bridge over the expressway. This is a rainforest walk. Eat at Beauty World after, before 19:00 close.
